A Word About Psychics.

I hate the word ‘psychic’. People kinda shut off when you say it. Here comes some bullshit, they think. And I get it. There is lot of bullshit out there. Misuse. People out there posing clairvoyant, messing things up for those who use their gift for good.

And yeah. It’s a gift.

Also a responsibility. We have this ability to help people. Not glamorize ourselves or look cool at cocktail parties. And definitely not to manipulate or coerce. PERIOD.

If you’re new here, I’m psychic. I see dead people. I have Discernment of the Spirit if that language makes you more comfortable. I don’t need cards, tea leaves, or crystal balls. I’m the type minding my own when someone’s Grandma shows up wanting me to say something. I hear, see, and feel Spirit on a daily basis and tell people — even strangers— messages I get. Whether or not they believe me is their business. I did my part. I’m all about good vibes and balanced chakras which makes me easy to ridicule. But fun fact: I really don’t care.

Unpacking the prolific bullshit surrounding metaphysical phenomena is very important to me. Hence this website. My constant goal is to educate and write about this stuff in a practical, no-nonsense kinda way. Try, anyway. So lemme impart some wisdom. Because someone needs to hear it.

The reader isn’t the source of the info. Heaven is. Hence the word ‘medium.’

Maybe it’s angels or ancestors whispering wisdom. Maybe it’s Grandma. But no information coming from heaven will incite fear. Ever. Readings aren’t for controlling narratives or getting your way. The SOLE PURPOSE is to align people with their highest good. Keep you on path. So Spirit says what you need to hear. Not what you want to hear. Big difference. Real messages feed your soul. Not your ego. And a legit reader will impart guidance with love, in the way you need to get it. You should never leave a reading with feelings of dread or paranoia. Ever. That’s lower vibration stuff and a whole different topic. But my point is:

TRUST YOUR SOURCE.

A genuine psychic says:

Hey, I’m feeling you should take the backroads tomorrow.

An irresponsible/novice reader says:

I see blood on the freeway.

A charlatan says:

You’ll die if you don’t buy this protection candle.

Feel the difference?

And goes without saying anyone offering hexes or spell work is no bueno. This isn’t the 17th century. Please don’t add to the world’s misery with that low-vibe nonsense.

Makes me mad just typing that. Because people seeking advice are often vulnerable. And exploiting vulnerable people is next-level shitty.

It’s not magic. Not woo-woo. Intuition lives in our human toolbox alongside other life skills, mechanical to musical. We all sing. Doesn’t mean we can carry a tune. We all know 2 + 2 = 4. Doesn’t mean we’re good at math. Same goes for discernment.

And the moral of the story isn’t ‘don’t get readings’. That’s not my platform. I love readings. I get them, and occasionally give them. But I pray and meditate first, knowing those gentle, soft answers come from the same loving, proper Source.

Felt I needed to share.

Until next time, surround yourself with people and situations that nourish your soul. Your own feelings are the strongest compass for what is right. Listen.

love,

Jennifer

Absolutely admire every word you have written. My Mother used to go to a lady in Austin who was remarkable. I’m sure with your great attitude you are as well. Thank you, Paula
